I  wish I could offer all of my teaching for free to benefit everyone who comes here. Sadly this is not feasible as I need to also live in order to keep Lighting Mentor running to share my knowledge from my 27 years of industry experience. I do realize that some people coming here are from places in the world that do not line up financially with that of the US (where I live) and this makes it difficult to be able to share with everyone. I really want to find a way to share with as many people as possible, all while being sustainable myself too.

And so I have decided the best way to do this is to offer some limited scholarships each year. I will offer one scholarship for Mentorship/Apprenticeship per year (90% off). I will offer 10 people access to my online courses per year (100% off).

 

 Being that I award only a limited number of scholarships each year I want to see that you are really passionate and will take this seriously. I want you to write me an essay as to why you think you are a good candidate for a scholarship. Please provide a link to your current portfolio of work. Please tell me what your dreams are for your future and how you will use your art to make the world a better place.
